Plain-English summary: Critzbe connects creators and brands for paid collaborations. We hold the brand's payment safely until the work is approved, then pay the creator and keep a small fee. Be honest, do the work you agree to, and keep deals on Critzbe. The full terms are below.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Critzbe ("Critzbe", "we", "us"), an online marketplace that connects content creators and influencers ("Creators") with brands and businesses ("Brands") for paid collaborations. By creating an account or using Critzbe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Critzbe.
2. Who can use Critzbe
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself, your business, and (for Creators) your social media accounts and follower counts. Providing false information may lead to rejection or removal.
3. Accounts and verification
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Critzbe reviews and verifies Creator and Brand profiles before they go live or can transact. Verification is a check for authenticity — it is not a guarantee of any party's conduct, quality, or results.
4. Creators
As a Creator, you agree to: keep your profile and follower numbers accurate; only apply to campaigns you genuinely intend to fulfil; deliver the agreed work, on time, to the brief; and own (or have the rights to) the content you create. You set your own prices and choose which campaigns to apply to. Creators currently pay no platform fee.
5. Brands
As a Brand, you agree to: post accurate, lawful campaigns; pay the agreed amount through Critzbe; and review delivered work fairly and promptly. You may not use creators' content beyond what each deal permits.
6. Fees
Brands pay the creator's agreed price plus a platform fee of 10%, shown clearly before payment. Barter campaigns (free product instead of cash) may carry a flat listing fee, shown at the time of posting. Creators receive 100% of their agreed price. We may change our fees in future; changes will be shown before they apply to you.
7. Payments and escrow
For paid deals, the Brand pays Critzbe, and we hold the funds until the Brand approves the delivered work — then we release the creator's share and retain our fee. We currently process payments with the help of third-party providers (such as Razorpay) and may do so manually during our early stage. We are not a bank and do not pay interest on held funds.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Our refund and cancellation policy is described on our Pricing page and forms part of these Terms. In short: money is released to a creator only after the brand approves the work; deals cancelled before work begins are refunded (a payment-gateway fee may be non-refundable); and disputes are reviewed and decided by Critzbe.
9. Keeping deals on Critzbe
Critzbe's protections — verification, secure payment, and dispute help — only work when deals happen on the platform. You agree not to use Critzbe to find a counterparty and then deliberately move the transaction off-platform to avoid fees. Doing so may result in suspension.
10. Things you must not do
You may not: post false, misleading, illegal, hateful, or infringing content; impersonate others or fake metrics; harass other users; attempt to defraud anyone; or interfere with the security or operation of Critzbe.
11. Content and intellectual property
Creators retain ownership of the content they create. By delivering content under a deal, the Creator grants the Brand the usage rights agreed in that deal. Critzbe may display Creator profile information and public work to operate and promote the marketplace.
12. Disputes between users
Critzbe is a marketplace, not a party to the agreement between a Creator and a Brand. If a dispute arises on a funded deal, we will review the messages and delivered work and decide, in good faith, how to release or refund the held funds. Our decision on the held funds is final.
13. Disclaimers
Critzbe is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any campaign will be filled, that any creator or brand will perform, or that you will achieve any particular result. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Critzbe's total liability to you for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the platform fees we earned on the transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, harm other users, or pose a risk to Critzbe. You may stop using Critzbe at any time.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Critzbe grows. We will post the updated version here with a new date, and significant changes will be communicated to you.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the jurisdiction of the courts at our place of business.
